You''ll be responsible for both transactional and analytical workloads across Cloud SQL (MySQL) and BigQuery, ensuring performance, reliability, security, and cost-efficiency. This is a hands-on role where you''ll manage high availability setups, performance tuning, disaster recovery planning, automation, and observability. You''ll also mentor engineers, maintain documentation, and manage third-party relationships.What you''ll need to succeedTo thrive in this role, you''ll need:Strong experience with Cloud SQL (MySQL) and BigQuery, including indexing, query plans, and schema design.Hands-on production experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Proficiency in Terraform, Git, Bash, and other Scripting/IaC tools.Familiarity with monitoring tools like Cloud Monitoring or New Relic.Solid understanding of database security, IAM, encryption, and audit logging.Proven op
