We are seeking a Backend Developer with expertise in creating scalable and efficient systems. The ideal consultant will possess a strong background in Python, full-stack development, particularly in FinTech environments. Key skills include proficiency in AWS, Python and the implementation of GenAI and OCR technologies for data processing. Your role will be crucial in building a Sharia-compliant FinTech application designed to support and scale business lending for startups and SMEs.

Main Responsibilities

The Backend Developer will be responsible for:

Designing and implementing backend services and APIs.Collaborating with the frontend team to deliver functional applications.Optimizing application performance and scalability.Integrating third-party APIs relevant to the business.Conducting thorough testing and debugging.Participating in code reviews and contributing to technical documentation.Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.

Key Requirements

Proven experience in backend development - ideally Python.Strong knowledge of AWS.Experience with GenAI and OCR technologies.Familiarity with database management systems.Solid understanding of design patterns and software architecture.Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.Previous experience in FinTech is highly desirableExperience working in a startup environment.Familiarity with best practices in agile development.Previous exposure to Sharia-compliance regulations.Knowledge of Figma for prototype reviews.
