Area Sales Engineer – Industrial Electrical Control and AutomationOn behalf of our client, an excellent opportunity for an experienced Field-based Area Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager to join a first-class business. The role involves selling a range of high-quality Industrial Automation products, including PLCs, Control Gear, Switchgear and Circuit Protection, Variable Speed Drives, Sensors, HMI and Process Instrumentation.Responsibilities

Sell a range of high-quality Industrial Automation products into OEMs, End Users, System Integrators and Panel Builders across South Yorkshire and parts of Derbyshire (including Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham, Barnsley, Chesterfield, Worksop).Develop and manage an existing portfolio of accounts while identifying new business opportunities to achieve defined sales targets.Maintain strong product knowledge and present solutions that meet customer needs, supporting the sales process from qualification to close.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery of solutions.Qualifications and Skills

Sales and technical experience in the Industrial Automation industry with a proven track record of sales success.A formal qualification in Electrical/Electronic discipline to ONC/HND or above is desirable but not essential; demonstrated knowledge and sales ability is acceptable.Strong organisational and communication skills; ability to work effectively as part of a team while also operating with a degree of autonomy.Proficiency with Microsoft packages.Employment Type
