As a Planner, you''ll be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining detailed project programmes using Microsoft Project (MSP).

• Working closely with project managers, site teams, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and realistic schedules.

• Monitoring project progress against baselines, identifying critical paths, and highlighting potential delays.

• Producing regular progress reports and forecasting future project performance.

• Assessing the impact of variations and changes on project timelines, with a keen eye on NEC Contract implications.

• Contributing to risk management and mitigation strategies, considering contractual obligations.

• Ensuring compliance with NEC Contract requirements and company procedures.

We''re looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience as a Planner within a civils contracting environment.

• Demonstrable expertise in using Microsoft Project (MSP) for complex project scheduling.

• Strong knowledge and practical experience with NEC Contracts (e.g., NEC3, NEC4), particularly in relation to programming and compensation events.

• A strong understanding of civil engineering construction processes and methodologies.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of project staff and stakeholders.

• A proactive and organised approach to work, with keen attention to detail.

• Based in or willing to relocate to the North East.
