Manufacturing Engineer - Aircraft Prototype Build Programme Bristol (Hybrid) Highly Competitive Rate 6-Month Contract Outside IR35 An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a cutting-edge aerospace programme entering a critical stage of live aircraft prototype build and transition toward pre-production. We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in aircraft assembly, systems installation, and shop-floor manufacturing support to play a key role in ensuring complex aircraft systems are successfully integrated and delivered. You will work closely with design, production, and test teams, supporting the build and integration of advanced aircraft systems while helping prepare manufacturing processes for the move from prototype development to production readiness. Key Responsibilities Support aircraft assembly and systems installation activities within the manufacturing environment Develop and maintain manufacturing process plans and build instructions for complex aircraft systems Work closely with production teams to resolve assembly and integration challenges Translate engineering design data into production-ready manufacturing plans Create and manage planning and commissioning cards from engineering data Support EWIS and aircraft systems integration within the aircraft build programme Lead or contribute to concession activity, root cause investigations, and corrective actions Provide hands-on manufacturing engineering support to mainta
