This programme is a pipeline to our subsequent full-time analyst programme.As an Industrial Placement Year Intern within Markets Economic Research, you will engage in a stimulating, demanding environment, supporting our senior economists with industry-leading research.Available tracks include EDGE (Frontier Economies), Equity Quantitative, and Western Europe, each offering exposure to global macro and market research, economics, econometrics and data-driven analysis.Program applicants are encouraged to submit early as programs will close when positions are filled, and successful candidates will receive training from expert instructors and JPMorganChase professionals.Responsibilities

Support senior economist colleagues with key economic research, evaluations and preparatory analyses.Monitor market movements and conduct portfolio reviews.Learn about the solutions and products offered for clients to manage market conditions.Participate in hands-on experience, relevant skills training and professional networking.About You

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:Proficient verbal and written communication skills for the country to which you are applying.Willing to take on some responsibility and manage your own projects in collaboration with colleagues.Graduation date falls within April-October 2028, studying an undergraduate course with an integrated industrial placement year.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills:Keen interest in global financial markets, and investigative and quantitative skills.Adaptability, attention to detail and thrives in a collaborative environment.Well-rounded academic background with details of extra-curricular positions is valued.Open to applicants from all degree disciplines; for trading and structuring tracks, numerical and quantitative aptitude is useful.We value personal qualities, outside interests and achievements beyond academia that demonstrate the kind of person you are and the difference you could bring to the team.Please note: not all hiring desks require specific languages; list language fluency on your application to help identify opportunities.What’s Next
