We are seeking Multi-skilled Production Operatives for a busy metal processing plant in Tamworth. This would be an excellent opportunity to join a leading recycling business with a presence in four continents. As such, they are keen to make a long-term investment into new staff members who are looking to secure a career in the metallics industry.

Main responsbilities for our Metal Recycling Operative role include:

- Strip parts down with use of hand tools
- Sorting parts into seperate categories by hand
- Use of Forklift truck to move the-granulated productsaround the shop floor
- Working in a sampler station to help identify the concentration of precious metals in each component (e.g. platinum/radium)

Although you will likely be assigned a core area, it would be the company''s vision to offer cross-training in multiple areas to maximise your knowledge.-

Workwear will be provided, it may be worth noting that you will be required to wear a full protective mask & visor to help provide proper ventilation.

For all applicants we are seeking the following core skills:

- Trustworthy and hard-working attitude
- Encouraged to learn new skills
- Somebody with-proven experience in a manufacturing/ engineering/ process plant environment
- Comfortable with working in an environment that can be dusty
- Able to use basic machinery and hand tools
- Requirement of an in-date Counterbalance license

Hours of work: (Apply online only) Monday to Friday
Rate of pay: -13.00, increasing to -14.42-
