Are you an accomplished Senior Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record on major infrastructure projects? Ready to take on a pivotal role within one of the UK''s most ambitious undertakings?
Delivering on HS2 high-speed rail network, and we''re seeking an exceptional Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Ruislip.
This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your expertise on a project of national significance, working inside IR35 with a highly competitive daily rate of -550 - -650.

What you''ll be doing:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be instrumental in the commercial success of our project packages. Your responsibilities will include:
Commercial Leadership: Managing all commercial aspects of complex civil engineering and rail construction packages from inception to final account.
Contract Management: Administering NEC contracts (or similar major forms) with precision, ensuring compliance and effective risk management.
Cost Control & Reporting: Implementing robust cost control procedures, forecasting, budgeting, and producing accurate financial reports.
Valuation & Payments: Preparing and agreeing valuations, variations, and final accounts with subcontractors and clients.
Risk & Opportunity Management: Proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating commercial risks while maximizing opportunities for value creation.
Subcontractor Management: Overseeing subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and commercial performance.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, clients (HS2 Ltd), and supply chain partners.
What you''ll bring to the table:
Extensive Quantity Surveying Experience: Significant demonstrable experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large-scale infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
Major Project Exposure: Proven track record working on complex, multi-disciplinary projects, ideally within the rail sector.
Contractual Expertise: In-depth knowledge and practical application of NEC forms of contract (essential).
Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Financial Management: Proficient in cost management, forecasting, and reporting.
Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Relevant Qualifications: A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. Professional qualification (e.g., MRICS) is highly desirable.
