Are you an experienced and results-driven Operations Director with a passion for managing high-performance teams and delivering exceptional Soft Facilities Management (FM) services£ We are looking for an Operations Director to oversee the strategic and operational delivery of Soft FM services within a key healthcare contract in Kent.
This senior leadership role requires a proven track record in managing large teams, driving service excellence, and collaborating with senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality services in a healthcare environment.
About the Role:
As the Operations Director, you will provide leadership and strategic direction for the delivery of Soft FM services across the hospital. You will focus on ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement while leading a large, multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead and motivate a diverse team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and a high-performance culture.
- Operational Delivery: Oversee the seamless execution of soft FM services, ensuring the highest standards of service, compliance with SLAs, and regulatory requirements.
- People Management: Mentor and develop senior operational staff, driving performance and ensuring succession planning for future leaders within the team.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with NHS Trust stakeholders, clients, and partners to ensure the success of the contract.
- Financial and Risk Management: Manage operational budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure compliance with financial and risk management frameworks.
- Service Innovation: Continuously drive operational improvements and introduce new technologies to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:
- Extensive experience in a senior leadership role within Soft FM, with a focus on healthcare or high-footfall environments.
- Strong people management skills with a proven ability to lead and inspire large teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
- A deep understanding of operational delivery, compliance, and financial management in complex, regulated environments.
- Demonstrated ability to drive service innovation and continuous improvement.
