My client is seeking an experienced Reviews Team Leader with strong knowledge of Part 6 and 7 of the Housing Act 1996.Key Skills and Experience:A specialist knowledge of the law relating to homelessness as covered by the 1996 Housing Act and the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 with a good, supporting knowledge of Children''s Act, the Care Act, and the Welfare Reform Act.An excellent ability to lead a team, making sure that reviews are submitted on time, providing casework supervision on complex cases, and addressing any performance issues within the team.Previous experience completing high quality, timely reviews of homelessness decisions under section 202 of the Housing Act 1996.Previous involvement with cases that go to section 204 appeal in the County Court and to further appeal in the higher court.Experience with recording and reporting high quality data on all types of reviews.A proactive and customer focused approach to undertaking reviews to best identify solutions to customers housing problems.If you have previous experience in these areas and keen to develop your knowledge further this is a perfect team for you.
