We are seeking an exceptional

Server

to deliver outstanding service to our discerning guests. You will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences through expert knowledge of our Pan-African cuisine and impeccable service standards.Key Responsibilities

Service Excellence:Provide attentive, professional service that exceeds guest expectationsPresent menus and explain dishes with detailed knowledge of ingredients, preparation methods, and cultural significanceTake orders accurately and efficiently using our POS systemsServe food and beverages with precision and attention to presentationHandle special dietary requirements and allergies with care and expertiseProduct Knowledge:Develop comprehensive understanding of our seasonal Pan-African menu and wine listShare the cultural stories and inspiration behind our dishes with enthusiasmMake informed recommendations based on guest preferencesExplain the significance of our rotating African art exhibitions to interested guestsOperations Support:Work collaboratively with kitchen team, hosts, and management to ensure smooth serviceMaintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas and dining spacesSupport private dining events and special occasions in "The Nest" and other venue spacesAssist with opening and closing duties as requiredHandle cash and card transactions accuratelyGuest Relations:Build rapport with guests to enhance their dining experienceHandle guest feedback and concerns professionally and promptlySupport takeaway and delivery service when neededContribute to the vibrant, welcoming atmosphere that defines StorkWhat We''re Looking For

Essential RequirementsService Experience:

Minimum 2 years in a similar role within fine dining or upscale restaurantsProduct Knowledge:

Ability to learn and retain detailed information about food, wine, and cocktailsProfessional Presentation:

Impeccable grooming and adherence to uniform standardsCommunication Skills:

Excellent English with clear, engaging communication abilitiesPhysical Demands:
