Head of Talent

OverviewWe are exclusively supporting a highly respected executive search firm during an exciting phase of growth. With established offices across the UK, including Bristol (HQ) and London, the business partners with organisations that are shaping the future of technology.
The RoleAs Head of Talent, you will play a central role in shaping the future of the business and its people. This is a newly created position that combines strategy, leadership, and hands-on delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
Defining and delivering a group-wide talent strategy
to support ambitious growth.
Designing and embedding learning and development programmes , enabling consultants and operational teams to thrive.
Leading recruitment and workforce planning
- from workforce mapping through to onboarding and retention.
Hands-on headhunting and direct sourcing
of top talent to ensure the business attracts exceptional individuals.
Overseeing research projects and market mapping
to inform hiring strategies and future workforce planning.
Managing and influencing key stakeholders
across the leadership team and wider business.
Designing performance and progression frameworks
that empower individuals and support long-term careers.
Championing culture and values
across all UK offices, creating a consistent and inclusive employee experience.
Driving succession planning, organisational design, and leadership capability
in collaboration with senior leadership.
Introducing innovative people initiatives
to support wellbeing, engagement, and hybrid working models.
About YouThe successful candidate will bring credibility, energy, and commercial acumen.
You will have:
Significant experience in
HR, talent, or people leadership
roles.
Background in a recruitment agency or executive search firm
(or proven experience working closely with such environments).
A proven ability to
design and implement talent strategies
that support business scaling.
Strong expertise in learning and development, workforce planning, and performance management.
Experience managing research projects, market intelligence, and direct sourcing/headhunting.
A collaborative and values-driven approach, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
A
genuine passion
for building cultures where people can grow and succeed.

The successful candidate will enjoy:
Part-time working (3 days per week)
with genuine flexibility.
Hybrid model
- primarily Bristol-based, with travel to UK offices including London.
Competitive salary up to £70,000
plus benefits.
