Are you a compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs£ A nurturing and inclusive primary school in Gerrards Cross is seeking a dedicated 1:1 LSA to provide tailored support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN) from September 2025.

Job Description:

• Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with identified SEN, both in and out of the classroom
• Implementingandnbsp;individualised learning strategiesandnbsp;andandnbsp;differentiated activitiesandnbsp;to meet the pupilandrsquo;s specific needs
• Supporting the pupilandrsquo;sandnbsp;social, emotional, and academic developmentandnbsp;in line with their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
• Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to ensure consistent and effective support
• Promotingandnbsp;independence,andnbsp;confidence, andandnbsp;positive engagementandnbsp;in learning

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a 1:1 capacity (Desirable but not essential)
• Be a patient, empathetic, and resilient practitioner with a nurturing approach
• Demonstrate a strong understanding ofandnbsp;inclusive education,andnbsp;behaviour regulation, andandnbsp;communication strategies
• Be confident in using visual aids, sensory tools, and structured routines to support learning
• Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check
