A well-established engineering practice is expanding its highways capability across regeneration, residential, education and commercial schemes. As a Highways Design Engineer, you will deliver S278 and S38 highway designs from concept through to construction, supporting approvals and on-site delivery. The Highways Design Engineer will coordinate with clients, contractors and approving authorities to ensure designs are compliant and delivered to programme. This Highways Design Engineer role combines technical design, site exposure and structured progression within a supportive Bristol team. Key responsibilities Produce technical designs for S278 and S38 highway schemes Support preparation of Flood Risk Assessments and SuDS solutions Contribute to design reports, drawings and technical submissions Liaise with clients, contractors and consultants Support construction phase activities and site supervision Candidate requirements Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar Minimum five years'' highways or infrastructure design experience Strong knowledge of S278, S38 and S104 processes Proficient in AutoCAD, PDS and AutoTrack Full UK driving licence Why applyThis Highways
