Service Engineer - Buckinghamshire Area - up to -40,000 - 25 Days holiday + Bank Holidays

Prime Appointments are working with a leading provider of personal and fixed-point detection equipment, supporting clients across the UK and Ireland. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Service Engineer to join their team at their head office.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Service Engineer to work with industry-leading gas detection systems and contribute to a successful, growing company. If you''re passionate about engineering and want to work in a dynamic environment, this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test, calibrate, and maintain electronic and electrical gas detection equipment
• Work with the technical team to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
• Document service activities such as test results, repairs, and maintenance
• Travel to client sites for installations, commissioning, and maintenance
• Provide on-site technical support and training to clients
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction during external visits

Qualifications:

• Background in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or related field)
• Experience testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting electronic and electrical equipment
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and problem-solving techniques
• Excellent communication skills and customer-focused attitude
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays
