Semi-Skilled CNC Machinist

Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire

Salary: -31,000 plus outstanding benefits once permanent

Shift: double day shift due to location and working hours own transport is essential

We have a fantastic opportunity for a semi-skilled CNC machinist to join a well-established and ever-growing company. Our client has sites around the world and is looking for someone to join their Mansfield team. You will be a part of their engineering team who are responsible for keeping machines running and in good condition.

Duties:

• Effective operation of all CNC machines in the machine shop.
• Providing Support in ancillary areas when required.
• Liaise with cell technicians & skilled CNC machinist when required.
• Inspect and work with inspection cell as required.
• Carry out routine housekeeping duties.
• Ensure work order routines are filled out correctly at every stage.

Personal Attributes

• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive with excellent attention to detail.
• The perfect candidate would have experience working within a machine shop/engineering environment.
• Ability to complete work in a timely manner.

This would ideally suit a college/school leaver who has an interest in engineering (Btec or A Levels in technical subjects would be preferred)
