Artemis Human Capital is working in partnership with a highly respected professional services firm as they seek to appoint an experienced Audit Director to lead their external audit function across an enviable portfolio of Northern Ireland-based clients.This is a pivotal and strategic role within the firms senior leadership team, offering the successful candidate an opportunity to lead and grow a high performing team, whilst taking ownership of a portfolio of clients, consisting of top NI businesses. You''ll play a key role in shaping the audit team, contributing to business development efforts, and maintaining the firm''s excellent reputation in the market.Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of high-quality audit services to a diverse portfolio of NI-based clients.Oversee and mentor a team of audit professionals, driving quality and performance.Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact.Contribute to the firm''s strategic planning and business development initiatives.Candidate Criteria

An ACA or ACCA qualified accountant.Recent experience in a senior leadership role within a high-performing audit team.Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.A desire to help shape and drive forward a successful and ambitious audit team.What''s on Offer
