A long term, inside IR35, opportunities exist for a Site Engineer on a major rail project in West Yorkshire. Civil Site Engineers experienced in improving and upgrading of over and underpasses, tunnels, reinforced concrete structures, bridges, embankments, earthworks, drainage etc on rail projects for tier one principal Contractors, on major rail projects, are sought.

Regular duties will include

• Accurate setting out of the works under high pressure situations
• Interpreting the drawings and ensuring construction is to the specifications.
• Ensuring Quality as well as H&S standards are achieved.
• Management of subcontractors
• Produce records, as-builts and maintain a daily dairy.
• Ensure WPP and TBs are adhered to.

Requirements:

• HND or Degree in Civil Engineering
• Solid experience gained working for a tier one or principal contractor on rail projects
• Competent in setting out and producing as-builts.
• Proven experience in a similar post
• Valid PTS is preferred.
• CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, TW, AP are all advantageous.
