Production Coordinator/ Product Developer

Overview
We are looking for an organised, detail-focused Production Coordinator and Product Developer to join our Studio Ellis team. This role is central to ensuring our collections are delivered smoothly, from early product development through to final production, working closely with the design team, suppliers, and warehouse. You will be responsible for managing production processes and logistics while providing key technical support to the design team - strengthening the link between creativity and execution.Key Responsibilities
Production and Logistics (Primary Focus)
Arrange and track inbound shipments to EU and UK warehouses.Oversee production schedules, dockets, and approvals.Raise POs with all suppliers (raw materials, production orders and replenishment of woven labels and swing tickets).Match and check invoices against POs before passing to accounts.Coordinate duty/customs payments and freight quotes.Manage warehouse stock levels, including regular stock takes.Carry out bulk production QC checks and liaise with suppliers on issues.Oversee returns ensuring they are correctly recorded and issues are resolved quickly and efficiently with suppliers.Maintain production calendar and ensure on-time deliveries.Product Development and Technical Support
Support design team with CAD drawings, tech packs, and garment specs.Attend fit sessions, take notes, and issue fit/sample comments to suppliers.Review salesman and pre-production samples for consistency and accuracy.Support with fabric, trim, and swatch approvals.Assist with preparation of line sheets, boards, and presentation materials for sales.Analysis and Insights
Track QC issues and feed back to design and suppliers for future improvements.Analyse sales performance by territory and prepare reports.Support range planning with data-driven insights.What You’ll Bring
Experience in fashion production, product development or garment technology.Strong technical understanding of garment construction and quality.Confident in Excel and Adobe Suite (Illustrator essential for CADs). Preference to have experience with ZEDONK.Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.Clear and confident communicator with suppliers and internal teams.A proactive, solutions-driven mindset and ability to work at pace.Why Join Studio Ellis
