Assistant Accountant / Management Accountant - Hybrid Working Jacob Grey have partnered with a successful Marlow based professional services organisation, and is seeking an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join the team. Alongside a credible and personable Head of Finance, this will be a great opportunity to take ownership of month end accounts and play a broader role in the financial direction of this successful and growing business: Monthly Accounts: Draft full set of Monthly Management Accounts with supporting schedules Produce reports to calculate and review Departmental Profitability Complete balance sheet reconciliations Prepare Month End journals, accruals and prepayments Conduct monthly variance analysis in comparison to budget Take full ownership of all nominal postings and maintain the Fixed Asset Register Produce detailed information to support budgeting and forecasting Year End Assist the Finance Director with the production of the Statutory Year End Accounts Assist the Finance Director with the Statutory Year End Audits The ideal candidate will be an active studier (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or a recently completed AAT4 seeking the next phase of study.
