Role: Management Accountant Location: Preston Salary: £35-40kWe are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Management Accountant to join our finance team (with an immediate start). As a key contributor within our large, multi-site organisation, you will provide high-quality monthly management accounts (PandL and balance sheet), covering end to end procedures, that directly supports strategic decision-making and drives business performance. You will be a key member of UK finance team, whilst also have strong exposure to European Group CFO.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AS MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT; Prepare monthly management accounts and board pack information Process bi-monthly, and ad-hoc, supplier payment runs from start to finish Ensure monthly payroll is processed in a timely and compliant manner Monthly general ledger reviews for miss-postings and required reclassifications Daily / weekly / monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Stock booking and reconciliation, including purchase order reconciliations Monthly VAT returns and payments, and supporting 3rd party providers in corporation tax compliance Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers Maintain fixed asset register and monthly depreciation and amortisation bookings Maintain accruals and prepayment schedules Reconcile all balance sheet accounts on monthly basis Assist with annual financial audit requirements Ensure intercompany balances are reconciled with group entities Complete monthly ONS and other ..... full job details .....
