Estimator - Construction

Are you an Estimator with construction experience looking to develop your career?

Our client is a searching for an Estimator to join their successful pre-construction team where you will play a ''key role'' in pricing and securing ranging from -5m - -15m.

About the Role:

Our client is a marketing leading contractor in the luxury care home, retirement living and extra care sectors and new build social housing. They have a track record delivering projects for an impressive list of repeat clients and are now moving into new markets such as commercial and industrial developments as part of their 10-year growth plan.

In the role you would be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analysing project specifications, and working closely with the design, procurement and construction teams.

What We''re Looking For:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Excellent numerical, communication and analytical skills
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
- A team player with a proactive and organised approach

Key Duties:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates of Design & Build projects
- Complete take-offs and produce a Bill of Quantities
- Formulate Subcontract Tenders and undertake tender analysis
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing

Salary & Package:
- Great basic salary of -50,000 - -70,000
- Company Allowance (-5,000)
- Company Pension Scheme
- Company Bonus Scheme

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record as an Estimator securing construction projects ranging from -2m+
