• Childrenandrsquo;s behaviour and attitudes are positive and they enjoy going to school
• Good links with the local community around them
• Lots of children have family in the military

Duties vary widely but can include:

• Helping with pupils learning and development
• Supporting those with ASC, SEMH and trauma
• Keeping records of each pupilandrsquo;s progress
• Assisting with their health and hygiene

• Helping students develop life skills and mentoring them to have a positive outlook

The Successful candidate will:

• Have some understanding of trauma and supporting children with social, emotional and mental health needs.
• Have a good standard of literacy, numeracy skills

• Build up positive relationships with pupils and staff

• Understand or be willing to learn how children develop, think and learn
• Be resilient and patient when working with groups of children or on a one to one basis
• Have experience in a similar role or have a passion to learn the skills above
