Production Controller / Senior Production Controller (DOE)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, organised, and pro-active individual tojoin the Nosy Crow Production team as a Production Controller / Senior Production Controller (DOE).Nosy Crow is a multi-award winning, independent children’s publishing company with operations in both the UK and the USA. We make child-focused, parent-friendly children’s books for ages 0-12.This role is full time, and hybrid; you will be required to work in the office at least 3 days a week in our beautiful Grade 2 listed offices near London Bridge.The successful candidate will have the right to live and work in the UK.Please note that this role is specifically targeted at children’s book production and no other media.Purpose of the Job:The role of the Production Controller / Senior Production Controller requires responsibility for titles across all the lists including front list, backlist and co-editions. You will ensure the timely and commercial delivery of our award-winning titles, while maintaining the highest production standards. The role will work closely with colleagues across all areas of Nosy Crow as well as with our global supplier base and will require a significant level of autonomy.
You will be exceptionally organised, flexible and resilient, with ability to be creative and an eye for detail. You must be experienced in children’s physical book production, preferably with a good basic knowledge and experience of safety testing, 4c pre-press and co-editions. You are positive, focused, an excellent communicator and a strong team player.
