I am currently recruiting for a fabric shift engineer for a temporary to permanent contract at a commercial building in Bond Street starting ASAP. My client is looking for a Fabric Shift Engineer to be based in a large and well known commercial building. The successful candidates will be have a minimum of 5 years commercial building service experience and trade background such as carpentry or similar. Working with the maintenance team on site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance to the following. Typical daily duties: Fabric maintenance - door closers, door locks, poject works Monitor plant Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning) Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing) Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc Monitor the BMS systems Escort specialist sub contractors Ensure that all plant and BMS checks are completed on time, and all problems found are recorded and communicated to the Shift Lead or Supervisor.
