If this sounds like the place for you, we would love to hear from you.ABOUT THE ROLEYour focus as General Manager is to lead and inspire a team to deliver excellent person-centred quality care to residents in a safe, caring and stimulating environment, while meeting regulatory requirements, professional and statutory standards, and business performance targets.Other responsibilities include:Ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, person-centred care based on best practice.Overseeing ongoing recruitment, retention, and development of staff within the Home.Acting as a focal point for contact with residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals involved in residentsf wellbeing.Ensuring safe staffing levels are reviewed and maintained in line with occupancy and dependency.Providing ongoing inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.Managing costs within budgetary controls by reviewing regularly and monitoring stock.ABOUT YOUTo be successful, you will live Averyf values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all you do.Ideal candidates must:Have a minimum of four years of experience in a similar care environment.Have Leadership and Management Level 5 or equivalent.Possess excellent leadership and management skills.Be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and be competent in IT.Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.ABOUT AVERYAt Avery, we are not just one of the UKfs largest providers of luxury elderly care homes; we are a place where people love to work. Qualifications
