Job Description: Subject to the successful closing of the transaction with Spirit, after obtaining relevant regulatory approvalsROLE PURPOSEReporting to the Head of EHS in Belfast, the Environment Officer will lead operational environmental compliance and improvements for Airbus Belfast. Key responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, enhancing environmental performance, and achieving internal objectives. As the primary contact for environmental matters, the officer will support the Belfast Leadership Team, deputize for the Head of EHS, and represent Airbus in relevant forums. The role involves maintaining ISO 14001 compliance, managing environmental risks and opportunities, and driving sustainability through eco-design and technology. The officer will also oversee Airbus environmental policy deployment, lead audit programs, and engage with stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
