Description

The Accounts Payable Assistant''s responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate coding to the general ledger.
• Maintain accounts payable records and ensure all transactions are documented accurately.
• Monitor payment schedules and ensure suppliers are paid on time.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Respond to supplier queries and liaise with internal departments as needed.
• Support the Accounting & Finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable professional should have:

• Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar finance-related role.
• Knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in MS Excel.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
