Role: Technical Product Owner

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced

Technical Product Owner

to join our Digital Onboarding team. This role is pivotal in driving the delivery of innovative, customer-centric digital solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define, prioritise, and deliver features that align with business goals and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership

Act as the SAFe Product Owner within the Agile development team.Translate business requirements into Features and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria.Own, maintain, and prioritise the team backlog, incorporating input from stakeholders and the development team.Review and accept completed work on behalf of stakeholders.Align backlog priorities with business strategy in collaboration with Product and Solution Managers.Monitor solution performance and proactively drive improvements.

Stakeholder Management and Leadership

Engage with a wide range of stakeholders to gather requirements and demonstrate solutions.Provide leadership and direction to Scrum and delivery teams.Set and manage stakeholder expectations across the organisation.Offer subject matter expertise and consultancy as needed.

Decision-Making and Problem Solving

Make informed decisions on software operations in collaboration with architects, developers, testers, and designers.Manage and negotiate solution scope effectively.Work with Product Managers to mitigate commercial or customer risks.Coordinate delivery dependencies with Project Managers and other teams.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Experience

Essential Skills and Experience

Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role.Strong technical background with a solid understanding of software development.Expertise in translating requirements into actionable Features and User Stories.Experience working in Agile development teams.Demonstrated ability to deliver SaaS solutions.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

Degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Experience in Agile environments, particularly SAFe.Background in the payments industry.Experience delivering highly available digital services.
