Are you a Design Manager looking for the next step in your career?We are looking for an experienced Design Manager to join a reputable engineering consultancy, in a 12-month contract position, outside IR35. You will be required to work full time on site in Worthing. This is a great opportunity to work on a range of, pharmaceutical, Infrastructure and Data Centre projects.-Competitive hourly rate ranging from 60- 65 (depending on experience).Key Responsibilities:-Manage Stage 5 design deliverables for timely, quality supply chain submissions.-Implement and align SCS design processes, resolving deviations.-Coordinate with Stage 5 suppliers and SCS Design Integrator on queries and collaboration.-Ensure designs prioritize maintenance, safety, welfare, and compliance.-Collaborate with quality, engineering, and delivery teams for efficient results.-Support commercial team with cost reconciliation and subcontract management.What we are looking for:-Degree or professional qualification in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.-Experience in MEP design management with knowledge of relevant standards.-Proven large-scale design environment experience.-Able to work independently and in teams.-Familiar with Construction and Design Management Regulations 2015.-Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related software.
