HR Business Partner

Wolviston Management Services is working in partnership with a leading chemical manufacturing organisation to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner. This is a part-time opportunity, offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract, to provide secondment cover at their site based in Billingham. This is a standalone, site-based role, ideal for an experienced and proactive HR professional who thrives in a hands-on environment. You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, generalist HR service, working closely with the local senior management team and supporting the site s operational and strategic people priorities. Key responsibilities: Delivering a comprehensive generalist HR and LandD service Leading employee relations and engagement, including union negotiation Developing and implementing site-specific HR strategies Managing talent development, succession planning, and performance management processes Working autonomously while liaising with the wider HR team HR Business Partner requirements: Relevant degree of CIPD qualified Solid HR generalist experience at a senior level Strong experience in employee relations and stakeholder engagement Background in manufacturing, chemical, or heavy industry preferred Immediate availability advantageous Our client recognises the importance of flexibility and is open to considering candidate preferences in relation to the specific working hours and days (maximum of 22.5 hours per week).
