Role Overview The Management Accountant will be responsible for producing accurate and timely management information, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and partnering with operational and commercial teams to improve financial performance. This is a hands-on role suited to a commercially minded accountant who enjoys working closely with stakeholders across the business. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting and Month End Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and variance analysis Ensure timely and accurate month-end close, including journals, accruals, and prepayments Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts Support year-end processes and liaise with external auditors as required Budgeting, Forecasting and Analysis Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts Monitor performance against budget, providing clear commentary and insight Analyse costs, margins, and operational performance to support decision-making Business Partnering Work closely with operational, manufacturing, and commercial team
