Job Description:
- Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and teach creative, well-structured lessons that inspire a love of learning and meet the needs of all pupils.
- Promote High Standards: Set clear expectations for behaviour and achievement, fostering a positive and purposeful classroom environment.
- Support Academic Progress: Use formative and summative assessment to track pupil progress and inform next steps in learning
- Encourage Independence: Develop pupilsandrsquo; critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative skills through a broad and balanced curriculum.
- Work Collaboratively: Engage with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally with a strong understanding of the Year 5 curriculum (desirable)
- Be aandnbsp;confident and reflective practitioner, committed to continuous professional development.
- Demonstrateandnbsp;excellent classroom managementandnbsp;and aandnbsp;child-centred approachandnbsp;to teaching and learning.
- Be committed toandnbsp;safeguarding and child welfare, holding aandnbsp;current DBS checkandnbsp;(or willing to obtain one).
- Beandnbsp;creative,andnbsp;organised, andandnbsp;enthusiasticandnbsp;about making learning meaningful and memorable.
