Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and imaginative Drama Teacher to deliver inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5. The successful candidate will foster a deep appreciation for theatre and performance while helping students to grow in confidence, collaboration, and creativity. The role also involves supporting a vibrant programme of school productions, drama clubs, and enrichment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and high-quality Drama lessons from KS3 to KS5

Direct and assist with school productions, showcases, and co-curricular performances

Encourage pupil involvement in drama competitions, festivals, and enrichment programmes

Track and assess pupil progress, offering targeted feedback and individual support

Collaborate with colleagues in the Arts Department to support an innovative curriculum

Promote key values such as confidence, teamwork, and creative thinking

What We’re Looking For

A degree in Drama or a related discipline
-
QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Experience teaching Drama up to KS5 (applications from ECTs are warmly welcomed)

Excellent classroom and communication skills
