Perch around the expansive wrap around counter, where chefs serve bowlfuls of beef noodle soup, xiao chi and BAO.Bao''s goal is to create restaurants that offer a different experience to each other, inspired by our founder''s upbringing and travels around Asia. Each restaurant within the group has a unique menu and a different story.The PositionAt BAO, we care about doing things properly - from the quality of our ingredients to how we run our kitchens. This role is all about consistency, standards, and leading by example. Youll work closely with the Executive Chef to deliver our menus to the highest standard, manage the day-to-day kitchen operation, and support your team to do their best work.This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, quality-led environment and is looking to take the next step in their culinary career.What youll be doing:Supporting the Head Chef in running smooth, efficient day-to-day kitchen operationsLeading service and maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation across every dishManaging prep schedules, ordering, stock control, and kitchen organisationCoaching and supporting junior team members
