Job Title: Vehicle Structure Project Lead Engineer - (phone number removed) Location: Warwickshire Duties: This role is within the Vehicle Structures team as a Lead Engineer, reporting to the Technical Group Leader. The role will mainly focus on the delivery of HV battery enclosures, Frame, Lid, sealing and venting and bracketry. Responsibility for ensuring all in-flight programmes are being delivered to the latest technical requirements and strategy. This will include ensuring efficient integration and compatibility of the structure, to deliver the necessary attribute targets. As a Project Lead Engineer you will be responsible for the design and development of components on a given platform during the delivery phase, with platform and project engineer responsibilities. Achieving targets for component/system cost, weight, NVH, dynamics, safety, and function into the Vehicle and Power Unit program teams, as well as making the design and tooling releases to suppliers.
