Are you a Quantity Surveyor in the Plymouth area looking to take the next step in your career? Sphere Solutions are working with a rapidly expanding regional contractor to enhance their commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of refurbishment and small new build ranging from -100k to -2Million, across sectors including Education, Defence, Healthcare, Retail, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, your typical day will include:

• Managing a small team, consisting of a trainee QS & two buyers. -
• Sub-contractor management to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Valuations of work completed and costs incurred.
• Material take-offs for accurate costing and procurement.
• Ad-hoc commercial duties as needed on various projects.
• Management of final accounts to ensure projects are delivered within budget.

Suitable Candidate / Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a QS/SQS working on refurbishment schemes.
• Proven longevity in previous roles.
• CSCS card for site access and safety.
• Residing within a commutable distance to Plymouth.
• A full driving license to travel to sites across the Devon & Cornwall region.
