Mobile HGV Technician – Liverpool

- Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm (some weekend call out cover on a rota basis).
- Competitive Salary: from £44,000 + Technician Grade Bonus (OTE upto £50,000)

Our client, a leading name in the automotive sector, is looking for an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join their small but dedicated team in Liverpool. Key responsibilities of a Mobile HGV Technician:

- Service, maintain, and repair a variety of commercial vehicles, including trucks, buses, and coaches.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
- Provide frontline support to customers within your designated area.
- Complete all necessary paperwork for warranty, contract, and retail work.
- Carry out preventive maintenance to minimise customer costs.
- Work as part of a small team to deliver outstanding service.
- Flexibility to work outside of regular hours and assist with weekend call-out cover when required.

Requirements for a Mobile HGV Technician:

- Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle/PSV maintenance (City and Guilds or equivalent).
- Proven experience in the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of commercial vehicles.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a dealership environment is highly desirable.
- A full, valid UK driving licence is required (HGV licence is advantageous).
- Excellent communication skills with a professional and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
