Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and support workshop staff across a range of technical activities
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality and consistency
• Oversee stock control, material procurement and quality checks
• Diagnose issues and provide hands-on technical support when required
• Plan and coordinate workshop jobs to maximise efficiency and meet deadlines
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and best practice
• Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers and internal teams
• Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation
• Conduct performance reviews and support ongoing staff development
• Foster a positive, collaborative and productive working environment

Experience andamp; Qualities

• Previous experience in a workshop supervisory or management role
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Confident with IT systems and administrative tasks
• Technical understanding of fitting out or conversion work within automotive, yacht building, horsebox or similar industries (advantageous but not essential)
• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications (preferred but not essential)
