Duties for this Senior Design Engineer role will be varied and require someone flexible who enjoys working as part of a team but is experienced enough to manage projects independently from start to finish. Reporting into a great manager who is a technical expert, and able to offer progression for the right person, this Senior Design Engineer will be: Developing new safety critical products for a range of customers globally Innovatively managing the design process from start to finish, inclusive of the manufacture of prototypes, components and full systems Using a variety of software including SolidWorks. Using a purpose-built workshop within brand new office space to test ideas, create prototypes and demonstrate designs, including a range of lathes, milling machines, saws and other hand tools Creatively problem solving using your technical expertise as a qualified, experienced Mechanical Design Engineer, and working collaboratively with your colleagues, supporting their projects where possible Managing product test
