Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Salary: -525 - -600 per week / Competitive (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

We are partnering with a welcoming, specialist SEND school in Bury that nurtures every child''s potential. The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, SEMH, and other complex learning requirements. Here, teaching goes beyond the classroom - pupils are encouraged to explore, engage, and develop at their own pace, supported by a team committed to their wellbeing and growth.

About the role:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with EHCPs and additional needs
• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery, behaviour support, and tailored interventions
• Promote emotional regulation, independence, and positive routines throughout the school day
• Contribute to progress tracking and communicate regularly with the wider support team

What We''re Looking For:

• Experience supporting children with SEND (in a school or care setting)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively
• A calm, compassionate, and proactive approach
• Strong understanding of Autism and SEND
• A relevant TA qualification

To be eligible you must:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
