The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping a pupil access the curriculum, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.
Job Description:
anduuml;andnbsp; Providingandnbsp;1:1 supportandnbsp;for a pupil with SEN, ensuring theirandnbsp;individual learning plan (ILP)andnbsp;is followed
anduuml;andnbsp; Supporting the pupilandrsquo;sandnbsp;academic, social, and emotional developmentandnbsp;in and out of the classroom
anduuml;andnbsp; Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to implementandnbsp;targeted interventions
anduuml;andnbsp; Using a range ofandnbsp;differentiated strategiesandnbsp;andandnbsp;visual supportsandnbsp;to aid understanding and engagement
anduuml;andnbsp; Promotingandnbsp;positive behaviourandnbsp;and helping the pupil developandnbsp;independence and self-regulation skills
The Ideal Candidate Will:
anduuml;andnbsp; Have experience working with children withandnbsp;SEND, particularly Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, or Speech and Language Needs
anduuml;andnbsp; Beandnbsp;patient, empathetic, and able to buildandnbsp;trusting relationshipsandnbsp;with pupils
anduuml;andnbsp; Demonstrate strongandnbsp;communication and teamwork skills, working collaboratively with staff and families
anduuml;andnbsp; Be confident usingandnbsp;inclusive strategiesandnbsp;andandnbsp;assistive technologyandnbsp;to support learning
anduuml;andnbsp; Hold or be willing to obtain anandnbsp;enhanced DBS checkandnbsp;and complete relevantandnbsp;safeguarding training
