A Design Engineer opportunity with a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in the West Midlands. With continued demand across multiple projects and ongoing investment in engineering capability, the business is seeking a Design Engineer to support project delivery through the creation of accurate technical drawings and documentation. Design Engineer responsibilities include -

• Producing detailed 2D CAD drawings to support manufacturing and project delivery requirements.
  
• Creating technical drawing packages and documentation for internal production and project teams.
  
• Generating and maintaining bills of materials and component data within the ERP system.
  
• Reviewing technical information and project specifications to ensure designs meet operational requirements.
  
• Working closely with production, project and technical teams to resolve design queries.
  
• Managing drawing revisions and documentation updates across active projects.
  

Design Engineer desirable skills and experience -

• Experience in a Design Engineer, CAD Engineer or Draughtsperson role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  
• Strong capability producing manufacturing or technical drawings.
  
• Experience working with BOMs, ERP systems and drawing control processes.
  
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, production, and project teams.
