Punch Press Setter – Rotating Shifts (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm)
Location: Dudley
Pay: £13.00 – £14.20 per hour + 15% shift allowance
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable manufacturer based in Dudley who are looking to add a skilled Punch Press Setter to their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and experienced operator to secure long-term work with a growing business.
Role Overview:

- Setting and operating punch press machines to produce metal components to spec
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and job sheets
- Conducting routine quality checks and adjusting settings as required
- Maintaining equipment and following health and safety procedures
- Working closely with the production team to meet daily targets

Shift Pattern:

- Weekly rotating shifts:

- 6:00am – 2:00pm
- 2:00pm – 10:00pm

- 15% shift allowance on top of hourly rate

What We’re Looking For:

- Proven experience operating and setting punch press machines (mechanical or CNC)
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and measuring equipment
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts
