Senior Service Desk Analyst - 33,000/ 35,000 per annum - HullPrincipal IT are working with an IT consultancy organisation that are looking for a senior service desk analyst to join their team. In this role you will play a vital part in supporting their future strategy. They are looking for someone who is passionate about continuous professional development and has an innovative approach to incorporating new technologies into their operations. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the forward-thinking IT team, undertaking certified and on premise training covering numerous systems and software.Reporting to the Helpdesk Manager, the role is site based, 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) and the successful candidate must have a full UK driving licence.Duties/Areas of ResponsibilityProvide desktop, server and Cloud support to clientsDiagnose and resolve technical issues within SLAsAct as a point of escalation for Service Desk AnalystsEscalate IT issues to the Senior Engineers where necessaryMentoring junior engineersFirewall/Network/Wi-Fi installsDealing with WAN, remote connectivity, VOIP systems, VPNs and network securityOnboarding of new clientsProducing reports and proposals for clientsUndertake medium-sized IT projectsInstallations of hardware on siteEnsuring all client''s technical information is documented and up to dateHighlighting of any areas where replacement equipment is neededOther:Excellent phone manner and customer service skillsBeing part of a rota t
