Inspired has partnered with an outstanding independent academic publisher to recruit a Sales Account Manager for Spain and Portugal.
This role is ideal for someone based in Spain who thrives on building and nurturing long-term client relationships. You will be at the forefront of negotiating and securing deals across a diverse portfolio of books, journals, teaching cases, and digital content.
Role Details
Location: Spain or UK (with regular travel across Spain and Portugal)Salary: 50, + performance-related bonusContract: Permanent, full-time
About the RoleAs Sales Account Manager, you will own the full sales cycle for publishing products in your region. Your key responsibilities will include:
·Identifying, prospecting, and pitching to new leads, while developing long-term relationships with new and existing clients·Managing a portfolio of institutional accounts, government bodies, and corporate customers·Negotiating high-value agreements with national and institutional clients·Delivering engaging presentations and product training sessions·Representing the company at major industry events and networking opportunities
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a proactive sales professional with:
·A strong understanding of academic publishing sales and the Open Access landscape·Proven sales experience in publishing, education, or B2B media·Fluency in Spanish (Portuguese is highly desirable)·Exceptional consultative sales skills and a customer-focused approach
