Supply Desk is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Class Teacher with a background in lower Key Stage 2 to join a welcoming and high-achieving school. Youandrsquo;ll play a key role in supporting pupils'' development within a caring and inclusive environment.
About the Role:
- Teach a broad range of subjects across Key Stage 2, adapting content to suit the needs of the class
- Employ the most effective and up-to-date teaching strategies to support pupil progress and engagement
- Maintain a well-organised, stimulating classroom environment that promotes high-quality learning
- Develop pupilsandrsquo; independent learning skills through targeted teaching and support
- Take full academic and pastoral responsibility for a class, fostering both wellbeing and achievement
- Prepare lesson plans and documentation in line with school policies and curriculum guidelines
- Integrate ICT into lessons effectively and promote cross-curricular learning opportunities
The ideal candidate will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Ongoing commitment to professional development
- Proven teaching experience in a relevant setting
- Experience in resource management
- Strong understanding of current educational developments
- Familiarity with performance management processes
- Knowledge of effective teaching, learning, and evaluation strategies
- Interest in extending pupil learning across all abilities
- Experience with classroom observations and evaluating teaching quality
- Understanding of high achievement indicators and target setting
- Skilled in using data to inform and improve learning
- Experience in curriculum planning, assessment, and reporting
