Job descriptionWe are recruiting for 1 x Yard Operative / FLT Counterbalance Drivers on behalf of our client in Tamworth to work at a leading manufacturer producing G.R.P (Glass Reinforced Plastic) building products.The company are a well established company in Tamworth and have been operating for over 40 years.Hours are 4.30pm - 3am Monday - Thursday (4 DAY WEEK) 1 in 4 Fridays worked 4.30PM - 1AMThis role will be varied involving manual handling as part of a team as well as FLT work. You will be on the FLT around 35% of your shift.APPLICANTS MUST HOLD A CLEAN DRIVING LICENCE DUE TO NEEDING TO DRIVE FLATBED VAN BETWEEN SITESYour role will include the following: Loading and unloading lorriesShunting stock around the yard and sitesAllocating stock to designated areasWorking as part of a teamManually lifting itemsMoving stock around using the work van so Clean driving licence essential Experience in the following is essential: FLT CB Licences must be in date and an accredited licenceExperience working on a FLT in a similar environmentManual Handling Responsibilities: Ensuring Health and Safety is adhered to at all timesExcellent Communication SkillsFlexible approachGood attention to detail IMMEDIATE START AFTER WALKROUND WITH CLIENTInitial Registration with MET and then a site interview and walk round with ClientFull training will be given and there are excellent career progression opportunitiesTo apply please click belowJob Types: Full-time, Temp to permPay is from £14.14Start
