Plus, we’ll support you in reaching your aspirations and career goals, through comprehensive training and benefits.The role of Peer Support Service Coordinator will include:Developing, delivering and coordinating the provision of peer support, volunteer and group work to meet the needs of customersRecruiting and training new Peer Support Workers, Volunteers and Group Facilitators to support the servicePromoting services to ensure effective uptakeReporting on service delivery whilst building and maintaining knowledge of local servicesUsing initiative to identify sources of funding and submitting bids for future funding .Supporting the business to ensure the continued financial viability of peer support services and volunteer programmesLiaising with organisations to develop existing servicesSkills and experiences:Experience of working with a variety of client groups is essentialKnowledge of the volunteer sector and associated agency supportCounselling qualification from a BACP accredited courseThe ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work loadsExcellent communication skills including clear written and spoken EnglishGood knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, such as Word, Excel and email communicationsTravel will be a requirement of the roleAre you ready to be your best?Brilliant work deserves brilliant benefits!
