The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of outstanding science practical''s and lessons by leading a supportive team. You will also have some management of the department''s finances/stock/ordering supplies- in which experience is ideal. You will also be required to support other science technicians and direct them in their duties accordingly.You will innovate and introduce new systems to ensure; the safety of staff and students, effectiveness of your team, organisation of resources and effective use of the departmental budget. You will have relevant experience, a good understanding of Health and Safety within labs, knowledge up to GCSE/A-Level science lessons and with suitable science qualifications (for example COSHH/ degree in science).RequirementsScience related degree (BSc/ MSc)Experience within an educational laboratory settingExperience required within a school setting and managing a team.High understanding of laboratory safety/ COSHH regulations in schools.
